In 1900, a sawmill, best known as the Johnston Mill, which operated in the 1940's, was built on the site of the present Old Mill Restaurant. In the early days when steamers ran the lakes the vessels were pulled up on wooden ways for winter storage and repairs.
Located just past Lockside Trading, the Old Mill restaurant features a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, and is licensed under the AGCO. It is accessible both by land and water, with boat mooring available right beyond your table. Friendly service, great food, excellent selection and competitive prices are what you'll find at the Old Mill.
While enjoying your meal on the patio, you're likely to see some of the local wildlife; osprey, blue herons, waterfowl and maybe even a chipmunk or two. If outdoor dining is not your preference, you can sit inside enjoying the lovely, rustic ambience or catch a game on the TV in the sports lounge.
On the breakfast menu, served on weekends, enjoy selections such as traditional bacon and eggs, omelettes, kids menu and more.
